"Too Many Fish in the Sea" is a 1964 hit song recorded by Motown singing group The Marvelettes. It was the group's first top 40 pop hit in almost a year reaching number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] The song was one of the first hit singles written by Norman Whitfield and was also written by Eddie Holland. "Too Many Fish..." was also Whitfield's first produced single. Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels did their version of "Too Many Fish" as a medley with "Three Little Fishes". It reached #24 in 1967, it was his last top 40 hit with the Wheel's. His next release "Joy" was his first solo hit in 67.

The Four Tops..Ask The Lonely..1965

"Ask the Lonely" is a soul/pop ballad recorded by Motown group the Four Tops. Released as the group's third single, the single became the group's second successful single ever since signing to Motown in 1963. Released in 1965, the song rose to number 24 pop and number 9 R&B.[1] It's notable for it being co-written by longtime Motown staffer Mickey Stevenson as most of the group's hits on Motown were written and produced by Holland-Dozier-Holland. It's also notable for lead singer Levi Stubbs' emotional lead and The Andantes helping the other Tops (Renaldo "Obie" Benson, Lawrence Payton and Abdul "Duke" Fakir) in the background.
